Propane Patio Heaters - are an
economical and flexible way to extend the utility of your outdoor living space.
Most of the propane outdoor heaters look like street lamps with a the
mushroom on top. The great advantage of these heaters is that they are portable and very flexible. There is
virtually no installation time other than snapping on a gas line. If you are familiar with running outdoor barbecue

similar to a barbecue grill. A gas line will run from the propane tank into the ear or burning your component of

stored inside the base. Most models have an exterior in handy switch to control the on-off and regulatory function
of the heat without having to go to the propane tank itself. The gas is pumped up to the burner located in the

option. There are in fact, tabletop models.
These units are much smaller and less expensive, but are perfect for a group of
people sitting around the patio table or an intimate conversation space. A typical size for these heaters is a
base of 12 to 15 inches square on each side of the base, and a height of approximately 36". They are perfect
for outdoor entertaining and generally run up to approximately 10,000 BTUs. A heater of this size will raise the
temperature within its output range 12 to 25°.
The tabletop models use standard 1 pound propane cylinders and feature auto shut off
and tilt valve. These models are extremely lightweight and portable. The model I just described retails for
around $150 not including the propane bottle.
